Meredith is better by far than either Mary or Edith, (yes, I know it isn't actually a mashup) but I don't really care for it. It feels like the somewhat mousy member of a preppy 1980's private school clique. Hillary is the rich mean girl, Mallory is the shallow, flaky one, and Meredith is the mousy one who nobody really knows why she's in this group.

I also get the 80s boarding school vibe from it. I definitely see it as a contemporary of Hillary and maybe Samantha or Blair?

Oh yes, Blair! She's the intellectual one.
