Re: My Great Grandfathers Family
in reply to a message by Ruta
It is very interesting. Thanks for sharing! I really like Sophia and Dolores as sisters. I never heard Garnell before, but I like it.
It is quite tragic, that the father died in 1936, the same year his youngest child was born :(Is Ageeb Buchier his full name (firstname and surname)?
Where does Ageeb come from?
Do you know what the initials (J. Edward / Sophia H. / Dolores J.) could be?
BTW: I have a granny which is born in 1925 (and I am not old, not yet 30)^^sapere aude!************************************************************please vote my PNL: https://www.behindthename.com/pnl/68992

Robert Paul, John Edward, Sophie (some error I guess)Ageeb Buchier Kelly, but the spelling was probably Ajeeb or Ageeb Bashir / Bashar Khalil because Arabic letters do not translate directly to English as his parents where Lebanese and he was also born there. They are probably among the most interesting of the families, as his son had to work to provide for their family and he died due to being crushed by a car. My great grandfather had to work to provide for his mother and siblings.I will try to find out the initials from my grandmother as she probably knows. Not sure of the others.
