Hey, I'm really loving Veronica recently, with the occasional nickname Voni (rhymes with Johnny)

Wdyt of Veronica Ruby?

Any other suggestions? I want to bring out Veronica's fun side and avoid falling into Nun imagery. I'm not religious so would want to avoid Biblical names.

I love the name Veronica, but it's not a super-Catholic name to me at all (and I went to 13 years of Catholic school). If anything, it's more of a 'bad girl' name. But maybe that depends on where you live. (I'm in the U.S.)

I don't particularly like the name Ruby and feel weary of its current trendiness, but I think it sounds fine with Veronica. I like Voni.

Not my style, but a combo that flows well and one in which Ruby has a jauntiness that offsets Veronica nicely. nn Voni is good too.
