WDYTO Larkin?
What are your thoughts on Larkin (as a stand alone name)? Is it usable today?

I like Larkin, but I don't know that I like it enough to use it in real life.
It would make a better surname or middle name, I think.
I think it's usable for sure though.I also fully expect Larkin's brother to be Jolyon. And I prefer it for a male. I highly prefer Laerke (Lærke) for females.

I was thrilled by this name fifteen years ago, but since so many ends-in-N names and bird names are popular for children born now, my impression of it has diminished. It's definitely usable, though. It just doesn't distinguish itself. It feels like more of the same.

Hi !!!I think that Larkin is better than all the other Laurence forms (eccept for Loris). It seems catchy and reminds of 'lark' so it could be unisex too.A great 'new' name that I've just find!
