Renée vs. Nicole
Which one, and why? Hmm. Your ideas are intriguing to me and I wish to subscribe to your newsletter.

I really like both.I think I'd maybe lean slightly towards Renée. Nicole was really popular awhile ago, and though she'd almost definitely be the only one in her class now, it might feel a bit dated to her generation's ears. Only slightly, though! Both are absolutely lovely. I don't think you can go wrong here.

Renée. It's not as dated as Nicole, and has a lovely meaning.

Renée. Nicole mainly sounds mean to me.

I don't care for either one, but I'd pick Nicole, because I think names with accent marks are a big pain.

Only for a middle, and Nicole. I suppose because it’s my middle name and I do have some attachment for it.
I don’t mind Renee because it’s my sisters middle name, and I’d gladly use it for a middle name if I had another few daughters, and could name them whatever I want.

Renee, definitely. Just not with the accent mark. Nicole has never appealed to me and I hate the nn Nikki.

I like them both. Nicole is a nice female version of Nicholas and despite not being keen on names beginning with R I really like the sound of Renèe

If I never see another kid with a Nic name, it'll be too soon. Renee, then; also because of a girl I was at school with, who died in an accident while on honeymoon. But only as a mn.
