Abigail or Annabel - Annabel, I love it a lot.
Adelaide or Adeline - Adeline. But I love both a lot.
Cassandra or Cassiopeia - Cassandra. I like the mythical connection to the name. Yes, not the most fortunate one, and I wouldn't use it on a child for that reason, but the pessimist in me just likes Cassandra.
Cecilia or Cecily - that's tricky. I think I'll choose Cecilia.
Eleanor or Elodie - I love both, but I pick Elodie, because it's less heard of and popular.
Elisabeth or Elisabeth - again, love both, but I see Elizabeth much more often so Elisabeth feels fresher.
Francesca or Freya - definitely Freya!
Isla or Isobel - Isobel, I love it! Isla is lovely but it seems much more popular in the UK and talked about.
Lily or Linnea - Linnea. Lily is nice but doesn't have as much character and feels slightly insipid to me because of the impressive popularity of Lil- names here in Poland, and meanwhile Linnea is so Swedish, which I like as a Swedish learner and a language geek.
Margot or Marianne - Marianne, I dislike Margot.

Abigail - It sounds cheerful, and Annabel sounds like a spoiled darling.
Adeline
Cassandra
Cecily
Eleanor
Elizabeth - The 'z' looks stronger.
Francesca
Isobel
Linnéa
Marianne - Neither one is my style, but I don't have a super strong connection with France.
Persephone
Rosalind - I really like both, so it was a hard choice.
Vivian - Violet is lovely too, but it seems a bit droopy while Vivian is more vivacious.

Abigail - This was difficult because I like both, but Abigail wins over Annabel because it has one standard spelling and isn't a combination of two names.
Adeline - I don't like either of these names, but I'd hate to have grown up with "laid" in my name.
Cassandra - Similar to the previous choice. I wouldn't want the accented syllable in my name to sound like "pee."
Cecilia - I just prefer the sound.
Eleanor - I've never understood the appeal of Elodie. And Eleanor is stately and awesome.
Elizabeth - Elisabeth seems like you're trying too hard and it lacks the zing of the 'z.'
Freya - Francesca sounds like a low-rent attempt to be fancy. Freya is cool.
Isobel - Isabella may be overused, but at least it's a great name, and Isobel is even better. Isla sounds like half a name to me.
Lily - I would prefer Linnea without the accent mark.
Margot - I'm torn because I also really like Marianne. And the spelling Margot does remind me of ergot. But then I don't like Mary Anne, and Margot isn't a combination of two names, so I guess it wins.
Persephone - I just prefer the sound.
Rosalind - It sounds less diminutive than Rosalie.
Vivian - I like both, but I'd rather not name a girl after a flower.

Abigail or Annabel - Annabel, hands down. Abigail doesn't appeal to me one bit.
Adelaide or Adeline - Adelaide. No pronunciation issues.
Cassandra or Cassiopeia - Cassandra, though I dislike Sandra in all its forms. But she was an interesting woman.
Cecilia or Cecily - Cecily. English before Latin, usually. I'd have been Cecily quite happily. but not frilly Cecilia.
Eleanor or Élodie - Eleanor. Never trust a language with diacritals.
Elisabeth or Elizabeth - Elizabeth. Some people try to pronounce the s in Elisabeth like the s in Sally, and it gets tired very quickly.
Francesca or Freya - Francesca. Freya can sound like Fryer and if it doesn't, it sounds like 'sexual partner' in Afrikaans.
Isla or Isobel - Isobel, easily. Isla had its moment of glory and faded fast.
Lily or Linnéa - Linnea without the superfluous accent. Lily is pale and droopy.
Margot or Marianne - Marianne! I'd use it IRL. I far prefer Margaret to Margot.

Annabel - I don't like hard g much
Adelaide - sounds more classic
Cassandra - easier to decide how to pronounce
Cecily - no "seal" sound
Eleanor - more classic
Elizabeth - what I'm used to
Freya - idk
Isla - prettier, I hate the nn Izzy
Linnéa - longer, prettier
Marianne - hard g again
Penelope - prettier, less scary meaning
Rosalie - I like the sound of "rose" better than "roz"
Violet - I like both, but Vivian sounds more old lady

Abigail
Adelaide
Cassandra
Cecilia
Eleanor (Elodie is great too, this one was hard)
Elizabeth (I like the softness of Elisabeth, but I think most English speakers would spell it with the Z, so I'd pick the easier spelling)
Freya (gorgeous)
Isla
Lily
Margot
Penelope (Persephone is gorgeous too)
Rosalie (it sounds more graceful than Rosalind)
Violet/Vivian might be too hard for me to pick! I love V names. Both of these are beautiful.

Abigail or Annabel - Hm. I'm no fan of Abigail, but Annabel seems bratty to me. I like this spelling of Annabel, but Abigail is a stronger name overall. And I like nn Gail a lot. So Abigail.
Adelaide or Adeline - errr I dunno. I'm neutral to these names. They both make me hear "addle." Addle laid, or Addle line? Put an A instead of E on the end of either one, and I almost like both. Adelina "-eena" would be my preference.
Cassandra or Cassiopeia - Cassandra. But if it's a middle name, I need Cassiopeia instead.
Cecilia or Cecily - Cecily I guess, they're about the same but Cecily seems nicer. Cicely is even better.
Eleanor or Élodie - Eleanor
Elisabeth or Elizabeth - Z
Francesca or Freya - Francesca. Freya's cool but seems kind of a fad.
Isla or Isobel - Isla.
Lily or Linnéa - Lily?? I'm not into either of these and I have gone through a phase of disliking Lily a lot, but it's passing. And Linnea is seeming boring right now. It's my neighbor's name. She's like 40 and not very nice.

Hi !!!!Abigail or Annabel
Neither. I dislike them equally. Adelaide or Adeline
Adelaide was an old-fave of mine. I currently prefer Ada, Adela or Adelasia.Cassandra or Cassiopeia
Cassandra is in my list of favourite names since I was a child. Cassiopeia is lovely too but a bit more pretentious.Cecilia or Cecily
Neither. I dislike the meaning (blind). I much prefer Celia that could be a form of Caelia (sky).Eleanor or Élodie
I prefer Élodie while I much prefer Aliénor to Eleanor.Elisabeth or Elizabeth
Elizabeth is better while Elisabetta would be my second choice.Francesca or Freya
Freya wins but Françoise is better than both them. I like the form Freyja too.Isla or Isobel
I like Isla (EE-sla) only referred to the Spanish word for "island".Lily or Linnéa
I love both them!! ❤️Margot or Marianne
I really like Marianne because this name is a symbol of France. I prefer Marguerite to Margot.

I like to think of the "blind" meaning in Cecilia as referring to blind justice, just because it's more positive that way.

Abigail or Annabel (only because I like the poem "Annabel Lee" by Edgar Allan Poe)

Eleanor or Élodie
Elisabeth or Elizabeth
Francesca or Freya

Lily or Linnéa (I'm sick and tired of both names, though: I much prefer Finnish Vanamo to Linnéa)
Margot or Marianne

Annabel- I don’t mind Abigail but Annabel sounds a lot nicer to me
Adeline- I don’t mind either but I prefer the ‘lin’ sound
Cassandra- I like the shortened version of ‘Cassie’ as well
Cecilia- I had an obsession with Sicily for a while but I like Cecilia and Cecily too
Élodie- I really like both so it was a hard decision
Elizabeth- I don’t know why but the z makes all the difference
Freya- I’m not a fan of the name Francesca as everyone gets it mixed up with my own name
Isobel- I prefer the spelling Isabelle but it’s still a nicer name
Lily- common but nice
Marianne- not a big fan of Mary or Anne but together they sound beautiful
Persephone- I like the ancient greek vibe
Rosalie- not much of a fan of the ‘rose’ names so they are kind of equal, Rosalie sounds a bit nicer though
Violet- I like both but Violet appeals to me more
