tell me
so what does Rachel actually mean? does it have a meaning or come from any sort of bible of any religion? im 13 and for my RE homework i had to find out what my name means. I dont believe in any of this tripe about starsign and horoscopes. I think they just put down what they think they want you to hear .ei. (and i swear this is the gods honest truth) they say"This type is normally cautiously confident, strong willed and calm. Hardworking, unemotional, shrewd, practical, responsible, persevering they are capable of persisting for as long as necessary." if i was hardworking why would i be on this site during my RE homework? i cant go on for much longer but if you agree with me please add me on msn gothic_kisses@hotmail.com and you never know,we could have the same feelings.
thanks alot love
Rachel

rachel means "ewe" in hebrew(sorry, rachel!) and yeah, its from the bible. she was jacob's wife and the mother of joseph and benjamin. hope i helped you.
ps: i'm 13 too. isn't that freaky?:)

There's nothing to be sorry about. Reading the Bible would tell you that the ewe is a symbol of purity, innocence and whiteness. The "animal" names are never meaningless in the Bible. :)

Totally freaky . . . after all there's only millions of 13-year-olds in the world, how rare must it be for two to actually meet?!:-P
