Subject: knick knames

As a youngster my Dad and his brother frequently used the name "Rockabutsa" and "Snicklefritz" when addressing young boys. It always elicited laughter. I assume they are Germanic nicknames . . .?

Compiling a list of nicknames would be a monumental task !
