Any 'Edrie' out there?
I'm trying to find as many Edrie s as I can and get their stories about what they know of the name, how/why they got it, what it was like growing up with an unusual name, etc. If anyone has this name or knows someone who does, I'd love to hear from them. I respect all requests for as much confidentiality as the bearer wants (e.g., "Edrie of Savannah, GA" vs "Edrie in a southern state"). The object is simply to collect and share in a web site.

Hi, Just browsing the internet @ work. I thought I was the only one. I was named after my mother's 5th grade school teacher in Young Arizona, Edrie Way. I really don't like having such an unusual name. I think it has made my life more difficult. My name is pronounced with a short e at the beginning as in Edward and a long e at the end
