I have to agree with on of the other posts. Carissa Marie
does sound nice. However, my middle name is also Marie
. Just about every female seems to have the middle name Marie
. It's way too overused. But if you like it, go for it. The child certainly isn't going to suffer from a common name. You might get a little bit of complaining, like my mother did, for chosing something the child deems as boring. Of coarse, you'd probably get complaints if you picked something very unique too. I guess I have to say that I would never chose Marie
as a middle name but in general, you should follow your own instincts. That's the only way you'll find something both you and your child can live with.
