Subject: opinions on Sahara?

We're coming up with baby names, and are thinking of Sahara for a girl. I have heard that it is of Hebrew, or Arabic origin, meaning either moon, wilderness, or dawn. Perhaps it is a derivative of "Sahar" (which I've also seen listed as Arabic or Hebrew, with various meanings). Another site indicated that it means "Inca gold". Any opinions here?

Thanks,
Cheryl
