hi, what does Kosi mean and where does it originally come from? my guess is that it's from somewhere in Africa. Kosi lives in Manchester like many black people do.

So here's a long shot: the national Anthem of South Africa (and former anti-apartheid chant) is "N'kosi sikeleli Afrika" , meaning "God Bless Africa". Thus "Kosi" may either mean God, or Bless.
