I cant find the meaning of this name anywhere. I went to school with a girl by this name and cant figure out what it means. i think she said her dad came up with the name. she was white, and american. thanks Christi

Isn't Melania an Armenian/Middle Eastern name? I used to have a girl I went to school with & she was Armenian & told me her mother named her after a singer called Melania. Other than that, I think its a lovely name. Hope this helped.
