I grew up knowing what the meaning is to my last name and the name's history. So when I got married I asked my husband and his family what their last name meant; I was dumbfounded that they had no idea and never even thought about it before. Nor did they know it's origin. So if you know anything about the name SWITKES, I would be very greatful for you to share it with me! :)
