To Mike C, and all those who i never really met
I feel awkward asking/telling the great master of the site anything, but I don't want to just have an open message adressed to the general public.
To everyone I didn't meet on here is the dismal 3 weeks I have been posting, this is not directed at you, and I feel at a lose for not getting to met anyone and everyone, especially people who share such a special common interest.
I have recieved no help, which I really am not concerned with because I understand trying to find names, may be difficult,
But in turn have recieved much redicule for sharing a simple point in my life.
I never judged anyone on here, or thought harshly of them until they proved me other wise.
I was never rude, actually i tried to stay quiet pleasant during this short stay.
I have been made fun of, and told off, mocked and laughed at.
I have done nothing to desearve this.
I have always loved studing names, and when I found this site I was simply overjoyed.
Now I feel heartbroken, and I have decided to leave the message board.
I will find what the names mean by myself, I just wanted to share knowledge.
I do suppose I will still read it, and pick up interesting names for books, but after I'm done going through the site, I am deffinatly not coming back.
My main note to Mike C here is, i noticed wome poor attitudes before I started posting myself, but decided to try.
I can't even guess how many people that would have been beneficial and interested in this board were turned away by the cruel remarks.
To those who have done it to me or others, and i shall leave unnamed: This is not your site, where do you get off thinking you can talk to people like that?
Even if it was yours, it is called respect, and every human desearves it, to matter physical or mental capacity.
"I choose to think the best of people, it saves so much trouble."
I will try to just think the best of those who bite me, and i apologize for getting a bit curt back.
Much more was well desearved I think, but we are all equal and have our seperate faults, so I hope you overcome yours.
A side note: Keely is also a scottish surname, just like Kelly. Scots seem to have a thing for naming kids after last names.
I hope everyone on here the best, and I do mean everyone.
I wish I was more warmly welcomed, and my attempts at help, advice, and adding to the site, like was cleary said somewhere on here was appreciated.
To those who mocked my ability to write, I have never attempted to write properly, or to my full extent on this site.
Just because you think you know how someone is, doesn't make it so.
Also, from this board I have pulled off the following names, which I will list.
If anyone has any problems with me ever using these in literature, or even owning them, please post it, and they will be removed.
Once again thank you to all those who were kind, and tried to help.
Thank you for some naming enlightenment Mike C, and the best of luck to you and your site.

Silver,
Thanks for the note. There are bound to be disagreements on the board from time to time. I try to intercede as little as possible, both because I am very busy at the moment and also because uncensored conversations are much more interesting. My advice is to not take anything said here too seriously. And you are welcome to continue posting.
MikePS: If any of your name questions went unanswered it was probably because nobody knew the answer.

Actually, you were quite rude. Let me explain it to you...#1. You posted to me without any sort of provocation whatsoever: "sooo... Nan... you worship the devil, am i right on that?" and then later pretended that you were innocently "just asking a question" instead of attempting to vilify me on this board because, as the Self-Appointed Fairy of Niceness, you happen to find my sarcasm and sense of humor personally offensive.#2. You were the first to start name-calling, and Mike C. deleted those postings before they developed into a full-blown flame war. And, believe me, you would not like to get involved in a full-blown flame war with me.If you can learn to "play nice" on this board, then others will certainly play nice with you -- including myself. But if you've been lurking here as long as you claim to have been (in a previous posting), then you surely ought to know by now that the "regulars" of this board do not suffer fools gladly.-- Nanaea

Final NoteNanaea, I have nothing against you.
In a previous posting you said something towards being a satanist.
I thought that's what I meant.
if you do or not, it would make no difference to who you are.
Maybe I read it wrong, it was really just a question.
I wasn't trying to say anyting derogatory about you, or satanists, it was just a curiousity.
I was not trying to act innocent.
Of course I don't want to get into a 'flame war' with you.
I also noticed that on this site, you have a vast expanse of knowledge, a wide variety of resources, and a nack you simply can't learn for relating names.
I have a great deal of respect for your abilites.
I am deeply sorry that my comment would of come off that way to you, of accusing you of something you are not.
I do believe afterwards though, you said to me something along the lines of
'No, but dont worry Silver, it's not the first time you make a wrong assumption on this bored.'
Maybe you did mean that matter of factly, but it can off quite hurt and cruel.
I actually felt pain upon reading that, and it was only intesified as others joined in, and it kept going.
I want to apologize for saying what I said to you, but I was actualy worried about being told of, well.. this kind of thing before i even started.
Perhaps just a clash of personalities.
I don't appreciate being called a fool though.
And I have not been lurking, I never said I have been around here a long time watching.
Just that I read previous messages.
I only came on for 3 days reading all messages that were posted in November.
"If you can learn to "play nice" on this board" comments like that are uncalled for, and make me feel very childish.
I have made my decision to leave, and I stick by it,
I wish i could of benefitted from your knowledge and everyone else's here.
If I am in real name of a origin or meaning I may post, but not so that I am known.
Once again I'm sorry for that comment coming off wrong, and causing turmoil, but it takes two to fight, I was not entirely in the fault.
Best of luck to all. ~SilverDragon of Ryuchia

Oh my non-existant deities!(Being an atheist with almost entirely Jewish friends can get odd at times. Hence the strange subject - no offense intended to those who worship existant deities)This is the first time on this board I've seen someone apologize to the locals after a fight. O_O Everything so far that I've witnessed has ended in them posting about Nanaea's/Andrea's/whoever's evil nature and making snide remarks about their mental health.*sees a pig fly by*I've seen clashes like these before - well, who hasn't? Usually, in my limited experience, it's when people who are comfortable enough with each other to joke around a lot come into contact with people who don't realize they are joking. My friends and I hardly ever say things without irony, sarcasm, or just plain silliness - thus anyone overhearing our conversations is either offended, terrified, or amused. It can get like that on message boards, including here. It's nice that you both apologized. I made the same mistake about Satanism, I think - fortunately, not to a Satanist's face. ^_^ Went to research it, read several websites about Satanism, got even more confused than before. But I think I'm starting to get it now.Nanaea, if you're reading this far down, can you help me?
1) Do some Satanists worship a Satan (not the Christian Devil, but a Satan)? Any Satanists? Previous Satanists, as opposed to modern Satanists?
2) Is the philosophy of Satanism body over mind? That's all I've been able to tentatively gather. All right - thus end Lilith's random schpiel for the day.-LilithP. S. The annoying thing is, I wrote this nice, long, pseudo-intelligent post, and of course no one will read it 'cos it's so far down. >:^(

"1) Do some Satanists worship a Satan (not the Christian Devil, but a Satan)? Any Satanists? Previous Satanists, as opposed to modern Satanists?"Some do. Most don’t. Those which do, call themselves “Traditional Satanists.” (Satanists call them something else.)The majority which don’t, are the “Modern Satanists” – or just plain “Satanists”. Satanists don’t worship any living deity. Rather Satanists *emulate* the archetype which is called “Satan”. In literature, Satan himself refused to bow down in worship to any deity or authority figure, therefore it’s silly for anyone calling him- or herself a Satanist to do what Satan himself wouldn’t do.From the FAQ at the Satanism 101 website: "Satanism and devil worship are two distinctly different animals. Devil worship is what it is: the worship of an external deity, much as it could be labeled inverse Christianity. The Satan in Satanism is an archetype, one many know by name and is relative to the culture. Some Satanists choose different aspects of this archetype, depending on geography or just plain aesthetics, but the same characteristics still hold true. It would make little sense for us to claim to embody the archetypal qualities of Satan (rebellion, rational self-interest, carnality, etc.) on one hand, and then attempt to worship an anthropomorphic Satan on the other. In laymen's terms, it's hardly rebellious to worship a figure that represents rebellion. Devil worshipers need to be subjugated, ask for it by their own actions. The Satanist finds such unproductive and one-sided activities to be draining and useless (not to mention hypocritical).""2) Is the philosophy of Satanism body over mind?"I’m not sure I understand this question. Satanism is a belief-system which celebrates physical indulgence, as well as rational thought, creativity, and individualism.I dunno if that's cleared up anything for you, but I appreciate the "nice, long, pseudo-intellectual post". :)And hey! It wasn't so far down the page that I didn't notice it. :)-- Nanaea

Yay!Thanks :) That certainly cleared some things up. Physical indulgence...hehe. Sounds like my religion, Lazy Taoism (rather, my religion after I've had a schmidgen too much caffeine).I asked the second question 'cos a friend of mine had recently supplied me with some information on Wicca for a project, and said info included a paragraph stating that Wiccans believe in mind over body and Satanists believe in body over mind. Dunno. Thanks again for the info - maybe now I can convince my history class I'm not crazy for insisting that Satanism is a religion like anything else and deserves respect. Well, maybe not. They already decided I was nuts after a friend and I began to complain because the romance archetype discriminates against evil people. Still.-Lilith

Very cool response, Silver...And I, in turn, apologize for any misunderstandings on my own part.My response to your "devil worship" comment (and the subsequent comments in the thread made by myself and others) was more flippant than anything else, and not really intended to cause you emotional distress. But I can see now how, when you got your feelings hurt, you reacted by calling me "cruel" and "arrogant".I'll believe you where you said that you made the "devil worship" comment purely out of curiosity. Here's a link to the Relgious Tolerance website which may answer some of your questions regarding Satanism:http://www.religioustolerance.org/satanism.htmAnd now, if you wish, shall we start again? I don't really have an interest in flaming you. Especially since your previous postings on this board were pretty cool. :)Oh yeah, and I also apologize for the crack I made about the name of your persona, and any reflection that might have on your writing ability. I'll admit that was uncalled-for.-- Nanaea
