i actually know a girl with this name but spelt Danika instead of Danica. She pronounces it as Dan-nic-ka. Which means either there is different ways to pronounce it - or anglicised the pronounciation.

If originated from Serbia or Croatia, the name Danica is pronounced "DAH-nee-tsah".

If originated from Romania, the name Danica is pronounced "dah-nee-kah".

In both cases, the name is a female pet form of Jordan.
