What we call "hard G"

Is the G in Gabriel, Gareth, Gay, etc. What we call "soft G" are Gs that are pronounced as Js, as in Gillian, Gemma, Genesis, Genevieve, etc.

Ah okay thanks! But your G's in Gabriel, Gareth, Gay etc are soft G's for us..lol i wish we had some programm that can play sounds..
