I have never heard of an ancient princess, goddess or warrior by the name of Alison / Allison. Since it is a mediaeval name, there won't have been any "ancient" Alisons.Allison is not a noble German name. It is a mediaeval French (and English) form of Alice, which is from the Germanic root word
"adal" which means noble.
