Priddy & Vanozza

I've read about a little girl named Priddy. She is American. What does her name mean?2) Lucretia Borgia's mom was called Vannozza. She was Italian, from Rome. What does this name mean?

Priddy could be a lower class or eccentric type name for "Pretty" as that's how the word is generally pronounced in America. Or it could be a strange nickname for Priscilla. I'm not sure though.

more re: Priddy & Vanozza"Vanna" is short for Giovanna, so Vanozza could be an elaborated form of that, but it seems unlikely that the N would get dropped.

Perhaps Vannozza is a strange elaborated form of Vanna
