Re: what does my name mean???
"Daisha" could be a phonetic spelling of the Latin name "Dacia", meaning "from the land of the "Daci" -- an ancient, warlike people living in Europe's Lower Danube region. They were eventually conquered by the Roman emperor, Domitian, and a gold coin, called a "Dacicus", was issued to commemorate the event.Alternately, "Daisha" could be a fanciful spelling of "Daisy", after the flower whose name literally means "Day's eye". In The Language of Flowers, the daisy symbolizes "innocence".-- Nanaea
