Sean
Sean's my friend, but it's SHE!! I told her that her name is boy's
name, she told me Sean could be girl's name as well. Is Sean a unisex
name? or just only for boys ?

It can be either, but when used for girls I've usually seen it spelled Shawn (this spelling is an anglicization as far as I know). Sean is the traditional Irish spelling and I've only ever met men with it. In this day and age more and more names are become androgynous- Sean is just one of many that both guys and girls share!

I have never, in my life, heard of Sean, or Shawn, used for a girl, as her real name. I have a cousin who is named Sean, and I am friends with a Shawn, both males. I've heard of Shawn used as a nickname for a girl named Shawnee, but that's the only time.

I was watching "A BAby Story" once and the woman's name was Shawn-Marie (or something like that), she went by Shawn.

I think it's ok for a girl named Sean, there's an actress in ER named
Michael something...so Sean's absolutely fine for girls.
