We really like the name Bjarne for a GIRL! But now I've read that it's a masculine name. Does anyone know if it can be used as a feminine name?

Sorry for that, but Bjarne is a Danish/Scandinavian male name. And ONLY a male name.

Hi Loes,

Bjarne is a male name but there are several female names which are related - e.g. these two are quite similar:

Bjarna (female version of Bjarne)

Bjarney (Old Norse 'bear' + 'luck')
