Behind the Name: Message: "Does this work?"

My husband and I have settled on the first name Daimon if we have a boy. He would like to honor one of his life-long friends with using his name as the middle name. We have a one syllable last name.

So my question is: In your opinion, does the name "Daimon Troy [Last]" work together? I'm having a hard time deciding.
