Anyone know about Adriel?
Masculine & I'm a assuming Hebrew.
I also assume the -el is "God". What could be the rest?-Seda*

ADRIEL was the name of one of Saul's sons-in-law, mentioned in 1. Sam 28,8 and 2. Sam 21,8. SOme say, that his name translates "flock of God" or possibly "My flock is God" (= source of life). But it seems much more likely to be derived from the Aramaic word "eder", which is the equivalent of Hebrew "ezer" (help). My first thought though was, that it might be one of those made up angel names. So if you want to know more about Adriel as an angel, check this:http://www.angels365.com/angelinfo.asp?ID=413&Submit=View+DetailsAndy ;—)

I've found by "googling" it that it is Hebrew meaning "God's Congregation" and also Native American meaning "Beaver"Not sure about the legitimacy of either meaning though.
