Name Request by Brecklez |
The root jIv is an old one meaning to live, be, restore to life, or nourish. That said, I cannot recognize the word Jiya as a Hindi word, probably because of the way you chose to spell it. jIvan is life, jInA is to live, jindA is alive, jIva is a living being etc. The verbs are like jI~u, jIo, jI etc. in various non-indicative uses.
Maybe it is a simple word, and I am just failing to recognize it!
