Does anyone know about this native tribe, "Shasta"? There costumes, rituals, organization etc.?
Is there an actual meaning behind the word?
Thank you for your time.

I know the name "Shasta" from the Shasta daisy, named from Mount Shasta in California (where it presumably grows wild) which in turn was probably named from that tribe (or vice versa).
