Hope you're well. Just wondering if you've got any information about the name 'Ingeburg'? A friend of mine is called this and she has South African and Austrian parents (born in Austria and gew up in SA). Is it just a different spelling of INGEBORG? Any suggestions and/or information would be gratefully received. Take care.

Yes, Ingeburg is in all probability just a spelling variant of Ingeborg, probably based off of burg the Germanic version of björg (the very similar burg or berg, in Old English, means "fortress"). Click on Ingeborg's hyperlink for more info.
