We have looked and looked and can't find our daughters name anywhere.We heard it in a movie but have no clues to it's origin.

There is a girls name Myleene which is pretty rare (one of the singers in Hearsay has this name). The French form Mylene (pronounced Millenne) is popular in France, maybe Mylee is related to this?Just a thought,
