Re: Name= Kelley
My surname is Kelley.
Kelley is from Kelly which is from Kelli though and all come from Ceallach (may be from Angus, Galloway, Fife, Aberdeen, Dunbar, St. Andrews, Berwickshire, Renfrewshire or Galloway). Well, this is Scottish Kell(e)ys. I can't speak for the Irish ones. Sorry!-Seda*

Thank you Seda, for this helps alot. I believed and perhaps still do believe that during the periods of time of conversion with Christianity, that some of the original spellings were mixed up or completely misconstrued. I also believe that the first name and the last name may be different in itself as far as spelling is concerned.Being that I'm Scotch-Irish, however, I may never know which one it is!Again, thank you.
