A quick google check confirmed, that Elyona is also used as a personal name, but as far as I can see it's feminine. The Hebrew vacabulary word "elyon / elyona (f.)" means "the highest". It's also used as part of a name of a Kanaanite god in the Hebrew Bible (Gen 14,18ff.), (here and) elsewhere identified with the God of the Jews: "El Elyon, creator of heaven and earth".
So as a masculine name Elyona does appear somewhat strange.
