Behind the Name: Message: "Evangeline"

My name, Evangeline, was given to me by my Grandmother, and she wanted me named this, because of the Longfellow poem, Evangeline. That's all I knew until I looked it up here and found the meaning of "good news". Anyone else out there with a similar experience? I know it's pretty rare to even hear this name.
