What's the kanji for your name?
Sumimasen, but my Japanese professor said that the best way of finding out what a Japanese name means is to look at the kanji as well as the hiragana. :) Sumimasen. :humble bow:Phyllis (aka Sidhe Uaine or Gaia Euphoria)

Thank youHello again. Thank you for the information. After searching google for kanji, hiragana and related topics; then breaking Shigeko into "shi", "ge", and "ko"; it roughly translated into rising tone outside child, I think. Though any information from your professor would be helpful, thank you throughly for your time and reply. Signed,
Grateful Name-Chaser
