The first Tanisha???
I have a question. I believe Imay possibly be the oldest Tanisha (within America @ least.) My father returned from vietnam with the name and Ihave never ever seen or heard of anyone with this name that was born prior to 1970. Even when Ichecked this site they show that the first recorded usage of the name began between 1970-1979. I have met many gfirls and women with the name, yet none who are older than I am. I was wondering if there would be some way toconfirm this? Perhaps through a records search of some type... Anyway it may seem silly but I think it would be a cool distinction...

And I was so interested whether she was or not as well... :("In my heart, I think a woman has two choices: either she's a feminist or a masochist." -G. Steinem
