I haven't heard of a name Hamurdr, but looks like Hámundr, which is an Old Norse Name. The first part of the name is uncertain, it might derive from either

'hár' = high

or

'hoð' = battle

or

'haha' = horse

+

'mundr' = protection

Happy Easter!
