Combination of the prefix 'La' with the name 'Chelle' which was probably taken from the pet form of Michelle. An accurate meaning for your name would probbaly be "The" (La) "Who is like God?" (Chelle --> Michelle)

Note Latoya - the same thing was done with that name.
