are there any weird or unusual variations for names? example: my second name is Julee. variation of Julie. or friend's name: Natelya. are there anymore even weirder variations??

Well, for instance, Melyssa for Melissa. I've come across a few, like Brion for Brian and Jennafur for Jennifer. It's common nowadays, sadly.

I went to school with a girl named Julia who spelt her name Gulia.

Once I taught a Jenepher. And in another class in the same school, I taught a Catheline who insisted on three syllables. I broke the rule of a lifetime and called her Cathy!
