Valborg = Walburga?
Tonight is a special night in Sweden. It is Walpurgis night and the fires are lighted to scare off the witches and welcome the spring(and it is also the King's birth day and the day Hitler killed himself).Anyway, I was thinking about Valborg. I did not find it among the names. Maybe the English (or German) form is Walburga? I guess she is not that well known, since you don't celebrate Walpurgis night.

Valborg is probably a Norse/Scandinavian variation of Walburga.St Walburga (after whom Walpurgis Night is named) was a 6th-century English missionary in Germany. Walpurgis Night is the evening/night before St Walburga's feast day, the 1st of May.Walburga and its variations have completely dropped out of use in England.
