I named my daughter Farisa just because it sounded good to me. Today she

Well..i googled it, and found:

Claims that it means 'to make happy'
But i don't know if that is legit, probably now, because they also list Nevaeh to mean "butterfly", and that is so not true..
Also found that it's a place name in Ethiopia
Maybe you can google it yourself?!

Also says Miranda means "miraculous" in Latin.
Yeah, I wouldn't put an ounce of trust into this site. It's just another horribly inaccurate Babynames.com clone that doesn't have a drop of etymology in it.
