Wachberht is likely from 'wakar' (see Odovacar) and 'bert' (see Albert, for example). :) I would say 'Wachberht' means 'bright watchman.' :) (At least, my book says that 'wakar' means 'to watch, to guard'.)This message was edited by the author on May 10, 2005 at 11:09:32 AM
