Interestingly...The origin name of Rejean was asked a couple of times before: http://www.behindthename.com/bb/arcview.php?id=14628&board=gen and
http://www.behindthename.com/bb/arcview.php?id=15884&board=gen.Naturally, I would assume Rejeanne's merely a feminine form of Rejean. But it doesn't look like anybody gave a concrete explanation of what Rejean itself means.

Rejeanne is not French, unless it is Régine (Regine) misspellt...

Perhaps a different spelling of Régine?Otherwise... the name Jeanne is in it, but I wouldn't know where the 'Re' got from. Perhaps the name is a combination of two names.
