I've searched through both Arabic and persian sources and as yet have not found anything yet. If it is used in Arabic then it is most likely of foreign origin. My search (particularly in Farsi) was nowhere near exhaustive so I shall carry on searching and if, Allaah willing, I should find something I'll be sure to post it immediately so keep checking the message board.
