I know that the names Elle and Ella mean woman or something like that in some languages, but i also read that they mean godess in hebrew> is this true?

Yes, "Ella" means godess in Hebrew.

It should be spelled Elle or Ella it's more cis my language is portuguese and if you spell it like that person ela trust it will be too funny it means her and it looks odd.When I have a daughter I'm naming her Ella definitely it's just sounds feminine and classy I mean I love Elle but that's my name so there goes that idea.Good luck there both beautiful names.

I thinkif you take it as a Hebrew name, you can spell it however seems right to you in English.

Also, 'God' is almost always transliterated 'El'.
