My Grandmothers First name was Kiziar I no she had English background Not sure on the other ethnic back grounds Working on that. If any one has info on this name please Email me and let me Know. Is it a Last name? was she Named after someone? If I can get the origens of this name it may help me find out were her family was from.

Which I understand is Biblical, and possibly another name for the cassia tree...

Hi Steve,

I haven't heard of Kiziar, but there is an African name Kiziah [Nigeria, Bini], which means unburdened, carefree, light-hearted. Maybe the names are related???
