Hi Lassia,

Kjartan is an Icelandic name as well. It's either short for Myrkjartan, the Icelandic form of Muircheartach - a Celtic name meaning "sea" + "warrior", or it can be the Icelandic form of the Celtic name Certán. But I don't know the meaning of that one...
