Tenar?
Ok, I'm not sure if this is the right board, but I'm trying anyway. The name Tenar (f) was in the Earthsea books, and I really like it. I've been pronouncing it Ten-are. i'm just not sure if it's right. Does anyone know where this name came from or is it just a creation of the authors? And how on earth do you pronounce it, anyway?Edit: fixing structural issues..

I don't know where it comes from, but I think it's prn. teh-NAR. Earthsea was turned into a miniseries on the sci-fi channel and that's how they pronounced it.
