Thanks for you help, I thought one idea may be to find the Welsh names for some of my family names?e.g.
John = Ieuan
Peter = Pedr (how is this pronouced?)
How does Ieuan Pedr sound to youOther names are:

It would be. But Pavlos, you -know- I don't like the other board - they're all mad!...I'll just wrap this query up quickly ...Ieuan Pedr (yay-an ped'r)- Sounds great to me.Few of your family names have Welsh equivalents.
Generally most are used in Wales in the same form as in ENgland/the US.The exceptions are:Thomas - Tomos
Elizabeth - Lisa/Bethan
Marie- Mair (mire) or Mari (marry)
Elaine - Elin (el-in), Elen (el-en).Emblem would be best updated as Emelyn or similar, as Emlyn is a boys name in Wales.
