I like Liesel/Liesl/Lisl a lot! I know a woman named Liesel who pronounces it like Lisa with an "l" on the end--her mom saw "the Sound of Music" one too many times!

Leisel looks a little funny, and would be pronounced like Ly-zel in German, though. Liesl et. al. is an Austrian nickname for -lise names (Elisabeth, Anneliese etc.)
