I was named after the Marillion song called 'Kayleigh', which was released in the eighties, so maybe other people were too...

leigh, leah or lee... from old english meaning wood, clearing or meadow... my guess? slender meadow... from a place name... Lynn from welsh llyn 'lake'... also its a feminine suffix.. probably translated to mean 'little'

a slender meadow? hmmm... a thin meadow? one that is more long than wide? one with very long sides and little width? more of a corridor between the forest then an actual meadow? is that rational enough?
