If she wants an English name, she can find hundreds with very little effort. Why find an English word instead?

there are numerous English words which are used as names (e.g., Grace, Hope, Mason, Hunter -- and yes, i realize some of these are surnames as well).i saw her post on the other board asking the same question. i am not as quick as are you to assume that she/he is 'baiting' us. it is easier for me to assume that she is being sincere. if i were to respond with sarcasm (as you did), i wouldn't feel like any more intelligent, or insightful, or competent. it costs me nothing to respond sincerely.there are enough people who use words such as fairy in hurtful ways for me to even consider perpetuating the trend.
