Charles = Andrew = manlyFemale forms:
Charlotte/Charlene = Andrea = womanly, surely? If you make one side of the equation feminine, why not the other?

Andrea is derived from the Greek word "andreia". Andreia -- which is derived from "aner" meaning "man" -- does mean "manliness", but it is also synonymous to valliance and honor, so it is not necesarily gender-specific. Just a note to all Andreas out there, before you start joining Martina Navratilova fan clubs :P
